Ashlee's New Hair

Ashlee Simpson's new auburn hair bugs me. I cannot stand people with red hair that is not naturally red, no matter how natural it looks. If I know that red is not your real color, I'll hate it. Don't get me wrong, it's a very pretty color, but I just don't think you have the right to fake it when only 2% of people are naturally born redheads. It's just a weird thing I have... Ashlee is one gorgeous girl and I definatly think she should stick to the blonde. What do you think?

Shoe Alert

I just came across a pair of adorable shoes on shopbop.com. These cute DAVIS by Ruthie Davis ($625) peep toe pumps also have a bit of platform in them. Although they can add a punch of color to a dull outfit, I would advise being careful in your clothing selections with these babies. Too many bright colors will only make you look like a little kid or a piece of candy.

J. Crew

The J.Crew jewelry is definatly amazing me this season. The mosaic patterns and bright colors are perfect for spring. I can never get enough of big chunky, enamel jewelry!

But of course, if you aren't looking to spend a lot of money on gorgeous enamel jewelry, you have a good change at finding much cheaper versions at Forever 21 ($9.80) and Francesca's ($18).

Safari Trend

One the season's biggest trends right now are bold tribal, safari prints. Here are a few favorites from the runway:

From left: Just Cavalli, Oscar de la Renta, D&G

Here are some items that you can use to rock the runway trend the real way:

French Connection Magic Dress ($130)

The Variance Ring Necklace ($6.80) from Forever 21 has a cool, African vibe.

Ikat Printed Scard ($28) from Urban

Nine West Heech gladiators ($93) on Zappos

Odabash Jasmine Zebra Halter Ring Bikini ($158)

Tribal Bangles ($24) from Urban Outfitters

The Best of Twelve by Twelve

Forever 21 opened a new branch within the last couple of months called Twelve by Twelve. Its clothing is much chicer, although they do have a smaller selection. The clothes are glam, while also managing to be cheap, which is a huge bonus. Some of my favorite pieces:

Mystic Sequin Cardigan ($59)

Houndstooth Lady Twill Coat ($46)

Sequin Luxe Sweater($52)

Also, the Empire Waist Cardigan ($28) would make a great casual outfit with a pair of dark skinny jeans.
